I would like opinions on this? Bought at auction a few months ago, i had great plans to focus a lot of time in developing this into something great.
I've reached something of a brick wall in trying to source all the data to run a full car history check style service.
I have the Police National Computer listening to applications, it is the insurance data side of things i am finding hard to source. I have been passed from pillar to post about who can provide me with this data (willingly), the best i have been offered is an affiliate scheme but ideally we wanted to provide the whole service ourselves.
So at the moment i am wondering how much you think it may be worth to sell as a domain only to an end user?
Although I reckon car thefts are on the decline generally with better security fitted as standard for a while now, these checks provides much more. For example I personally used such a service to check out a car I was interested in buying recently so I could be confident it hadn't been clocked or involved in any accidents as well if it had ever been stolen, for the £5 or so fee it was a great piece of mind. My point is I think there is still a great need for these services.
