Ahh I know! I was having a late domain session last night and I didn't think twice before listing it- next thing I knew I was checking all the other ones, finding that they were due to finish about 4pm. That's why I mentioned the time during my earlier post, as I knew it would affect the price Still, we live and learn...
I think it's quite a lucrative industry, and one that's not going to go away. I think it was the fact it isn't a transient domain that appealed to me- if I haven't sold it in a couple of years it shouldn't have lost any value, ceteris paribus

Ahaha Yorkshire folk are, as you may have thought, rather cynical when it comes to technology and money
Thanks for your comments though, I'll see what happens, and if I don't get a sale, I still have the domain and I can go from there.
£50 for the domain, and a few friendly emails/phone calls to end users, and you're bound to find an advertising/marketing team who would jump at the opportunity to create a local sister site (directory with ads, perhaps sold by the developer rather than PPC etc.). The fact it's just London and not the entire UK would make this quite an easy job and I would do it myself if I had the time.
