I would like to sell some domains that have been sitting in my portfolio for a while. I am confident they would exceed the fees charged by sedo if sent to auction as they are good names and resellers with more patience would not be able to resist a bargain! Am I able to start an auction without an offer? It looks possible as several domains are there without a bid at persent. Thanks in advance.

As a rule you do have to have a bid before the domain goes into auction. The exceptions you have seen were probably in our premium auction, for which you can apply through your Sedo account.
If you would like to PM me a couple of your best domains, maybe I can give you an idea of whether they would be eligible for the premium auction or not.
