Wanted: Domain Appraisal Burlesque/co.uk

Hello,
Had a few enquiries since the .uk announcement about this domain but one buyer thinks if I post here for an appraisal that "we will get an idea of true value" and then maybe we can agree on price.

What do you think on value please

Are you sure you're happy to do that? Seems a dangerous option as it would only take a few people to come in this topic and spout nonsense like low £xxx and it could ruin your chances of a good sale.

Having said that I would say low to mid £x,xxx.

An easy £x,xxx domain - a quick Google shows that it would be applicable to many dozens of companies, many of which have URLs of the form _____burlesque.co.uk or burlesque______.co.uk.

Exactly how high would depend on getting several potential suitors interested at the same time.

Ultimately it's worth whatever cost moves you to sell it, it's academic what other people think.

For me it's an £800 - £1500 sort of name.

This is a popular trend at the moment. Whatever the valuation, I'd imagine you want to shift it relatively soon to get top dollar, rather than wait.

It's value is how much you're willing to sell it for, otherwise it will stay with you.

If it was my domain and I got a solid offer of anything above £3.5k I would probably sell.. but as much as anything that is because it's not a name that holds any interest for me to develop.

Perhaps I am merely repeating, but given how niche and generic it is it would be very valuable to anyone with that particular interest or a related business. To them it would most definitely be worth 2,xxx-4,xxx. I don't think you would get too much domainer/developer interest because it is so niche. I'd actively market it.
