I've noticed in the last couple of weeks that there's been a bit of bumping going on.

When, if ever, is it acceptable to bump on Acorn Domains?

Has there? Can't say i've notivced anymore than usual...

Bumping in the sales sections is restricted to once every 24 hours (or there abouts)... other than that its a case of keeping it civil and not using it just to increase post count or bug other users etc etc...

Rich

Maybe bumping should only be allowed if it includes new information, like a drop in price etc. Gratuitous bumping is a pain IMHO.

I have sold more on the bump than i have with the original post, and this is without adjusting prices. A lot of people do not see your original post and can't be trawling back over the days they have missed.

Bumping really annoys me. I have put plenty of domains listed and would love to get them back up to the top of a forum, but if everyone did it, then all you'd have is people battling it out with bumps.

Is it possible to have more than 20 threads displayed per page in a forum? This would allow people to have their post or thread on page 1 for longer, without the need to bump.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

I only bump a max of twice in 10 days and then it's laid to rest.

As for grinding, I get to do that about twice every 10 days also.

But i've never made any money from grinding :(
