Bothy.com - £500 fixed price

Hi everyone. You may remember me from a year ago. I sold poetry.co.uk and several other good domain names. I needed the money to finance my uni course as a student nurse. The course is going really well. I love it. My average marks for Year 1 are 84% and my clinical work has been graded 'excellent'. So I am really happy how things are going. It is really rewarding. But I need to raise £1000 (this week) for a deposit on the room I have been offered for next year, so I'm offering two really good domains for sale at fixed price - one today and one tomorrow.

The domain I want to sell today is:

Bothy.com for £500 (transfer/escrow costs paid for by buyer)

This is a one-week only sale because I need the money this week. This price is not open to negotiation but it is good value. The domain name is a 5-letter generic .com and has loads of potential. Ideally I'd like the sale in the next 24 hours and money transfer this week. The offer expires next week.

I'll post another .com tomorrow which is also very good.

Thanks Pete, that's really helpful. I'll get in touch with them. The offer of the domain remains open here, as I will accept £500. The term 'Bothy' is pretty iconic for the whole mountain, highland, outdoors, folk music, Scottish culture - so I think the .com has potential. I really need the money but if it doesn't sell, in a way, I'll be pleased to still own it. It's one of my favourite domains : )

Bothy.com updated bargain asking price

Hi all,

OK the thing is this: I want £500 to pay for my next month's rent and so as a one-off, if anyone is interested within 7 days, I am willing to include (along with bothy.com) the following domains:

ALL for just £500 if you are willing to cover any Nominet charges involved in the .uk transfers, and basically agree a package where I end up with the £500 clear to pay my rent on Aug 25th.

Obviously you can just buy a selection if you don't want them all, but a lower price for a single domain is no use at all to me.

I am a 2nd Year Nursing student and basically I need the money to keep going, hence what I think is now a very fair price.

These domains are now all sold. My thanks to the people who pm'd me. This is a huge relief to me because I was so behind with my rent payments. I hope the vendor benefits from developing them. I think Bothy.com could make a great iconic site. Although Bothy is a specialist sort of word, it's very evocative of Scotland, Ireland, music, outdoors and sort of Celtic stuff. There is the MBA in Scotland with loads of members, and a well-known bothy culture in the Highlands. Plus, it's a 5 letter generic .com.
