I am trying to start reading again and need some suggestions.

Business or economics related books if possible.

Thanks

Everyone from dragons den

Alan Sugar

Richard Branson

Reading Alan Sugar now, bought it ages ago but could never get myself to it.

Glad that I got stuck in as it's a great read.

Warren Buffet is a good read and if you have trouble sleeping get the talking book version, the narrators voice sent me to sleep within 20 mins every time

- Yes! 50 Secrets from the Science of Persuasion
- Predictably Irrational
- Freakonomics and Superfreakonomics
- Die Broke

And then more tech rather than business...
- The Victorian Internet
- The Age of Spiritual Machines (old but it's interesting/scary to compare where we are now to where the author thought we would be when he wrote it in the late 90s)
- Engines of Creation

Great, please keep them coming!

@ Eddieb: which Buffet book do you recommend? I have seen quite a few of his books on Amazon but didn't know which one to pick.

@ Edwin: thanks for your suggestions, I have read Freakonomics and Superfreakonomics and really enjoyed them. They also have a blog and some of the articles are a very good read.

The Snowball. Its a great read, very interesting as well as giving some insight into how Buffets mind works.
I also have 'The Intelligent Investor' by Benjamin Graham, Buffets mentor. An older book that is still highly relevant today

Theres a list of 10 in a post on the site in my sig if interested. most were suggested on here previously.

If you like Buffet then try and track down a cheap version of

Poor Charlie's Almanack: The Wit and Wisdom of Charles T Munger

Personal MBA - Josh Kaufman
He actually recommends some great books here

One Simple Idea by Stephen Key

80/20 Richard Koch

Guy Kawasaki has some good ones too.

Some good suggestions on here folks must try and add to my collection.
