After some computation of publicly available information contained within the results published by Popularis, some interesting information can be revealed.

First of all there were 5 ballots declared Spoilt. It can be revealed that these spoilt ballots consisted of a total voting rights of 9300.

It should be questioned whether the spoilt ballots should contribute to both the cap and quota, as these ballots have been effectively ignored, without a reason stating why they were declared void, which would be available for inspection for UK public elections and polls.

Only 10 of the top 17 voted (those who's voting rights exceed the cap):
Code:
Company Voting Right Country of Ownership First Preference
Webfusion Ltd 2434146 UK Dickie
1 & 1 Internet AG 1994192 DE Dickie
GoDaddy.com, LLP. 413367 US Nora
Namesco Limited 281291 IT Dickie
NetBenefit UK Ltd 232729 CA Dickie
Iomart Hosting Ltd 213992 UK Dickie
LCN.com Ltd 209239 UK Dickie
Daily Internet Services 120930 UK Dickie
Key-Systems GmbH 97886 DE Dickie
Fibranet Services Ltd 57611 IM Dickie

As you can see, only one of the top 17 voted for Nora as first preference.

No possible combination that could have resulted in 5,855,114 of Mr Armour’s pre-capped votes being transferred to Ms Nanayakkara has so far been found.

If the top 17 had not voted, then the result would be as follows (with a lower quota of 438606):
Code:
                First Round Distribution Second Round
Dickie 501811 E -63205 438606
Nora 220217 59521.1 279738.1 Eliminated
Lucien 302763 1790.94 304553.94
Graeme 291026 1477.82 292503.82
Non transferable 415.14 415.14
Total 1315817 0 1315817
Of course, no information beyond the second round is not known.

the rest?

Thanks very much for the effort and posting it.

What does this mean if you strip out those votes of the top 17, can you tell what the result of the vote would have been then please?

It's kind of the OP to compute all this detail, but working out what the results would have been without any of the top 17 registrars is like saying "hey, the Republicans would have won the US election - if you discount California and Florida" - it's just not a realistic real-world scenario, and therefore has no meaning.

If the top 17 did not vote then either Lucien or Graeme would have won the second seat. Which of the two would depend on the second and third preferences of the votes cast for the other two.

GoDaddy stated that they would not vote or get involved in UK politics. Evidence suggest that for some reason they did. If GoDaddy did not vote, then Nora would not have reached the quota at the second round.

It goes to show that a handful of members are in control of Nominet, which prevents any other member from holding Nominet to account.

Lastly it should be noted that due to weighed voting rights, then there is no secret ballot. Although computationally difficult due to a large number of members, the flaw is known as the Subset Sum Problem.

A significant discrepancy remains in the second preference votes that had Dickie as first preference.
