Although the field itself has vast potential not so sure the name is that commercially exciting or even viable as different branches bio fuels etc
If it went down the scientific journal site route how long and how much would it cost and would it ever be seen as the place to go being a cctld as opposed to TLD probably wouldn’t help that route either ?

Most research if not done in house under corporate brand identity is funded buy the same or government etc and they’d likely want to push/promote there own branding/ agenda would they use the generic term? maybe a place to go to put researchers in touch with investors but that’s going to be hard to monetise you’ve had it a few years if you’ve had no offers I’d say there’s your answer?

Thanks namealot. Well it actually encompasses the branches of biotechnology like biofuels and so on. I've had a 4 figure offer and Im personally confident its value is in 4 figures. A good owner in my mind would be an ambitious biotech company (like Excalibur aka Sir Chris Evans) or a quango in the BIO sector, or perhaps a specialist recruitment company.

Defiantly it encompasses them but it’s a bit like “precious metal” and “gold” yes it covers the latter but I know which name would get more interest?

Often simplest way with domains is offer it to who you think will buy it? You have it priced at 5k Sir Chris Evans etc can certainly afford that (paid a lot more for his peerage allegedly lol) If they don’t bite you either review your valuation or wait till one agrees? Sometimes they may not want it but there wish for others not too have it is higher and touting it about in the right places can bring it more to there attention? Just don’t see it selling for the price you wish on a domain site but good luck with it...

Good advice, I once heard Chris Evans give an opening speech but he wasnt so famous then, I cannot find a way to contact him for love or money. Sometimes think its a shame people put so many walls in front of them that they dont get to see opportunities. Not got many ideas on where to tout it..
