Morning Acorn,

Any ideas on these two? domain appraisals much appreciated. I know hyphens usually see a domain in the bad books...

bingo-card.co.uk
bingo-cards.co.uk

Cheers
Lee

Hi Lee

I don't know what's more dissappointing, 0 relpys or a load of bad one's.

Personally, I can't see any value in these names whatsoever. Very poor marketing value as nobody pays for bingo cards, although online bingo is pretty big nowadays, but the one thing that really puts a no no on your names is....

..... the hypen of DEATH!

Sorry

Agreed hyphens aren't good for resale value but even so Steam-Direct.co.uk recently sold for $200 - that is still a worthwhile return on a £5

Hyphens can be good for parking though - some of our top earners on Sedo are hyphenated domains which have paid for themselves many times over.

Thanks. Bingo-Cards.co.uk gets around 250 to 300 uniques a month but it is only one page put together quickly. And although Overture has 16,000 searches for bingo card, Google is being so darned nice to my hit and miss SEO luck and I dare say it normally is luck, that it's not worth developing a proper bingo site come directory.

I've got 170 plus domains and I think, when the hell is someone going to want to buy one? haha but I suppose the reason I bought most of them was to develop them anyway not await a one in a million chance sale via sedo.

True, but how many unsellable hyphenated domains would that seller have in his list? probably enough to wipe out any profit I would have thought.

I'm amazed that you say that some hyphenated parks bring in the most revenue, I'd never have guessed, I think I need to do some more reasearch
