How were you able to get so many hits, when the keyword only gets 720 searches per month? In the rank positon you are currently for that keyword, you would only get 10% click through on that keyword? meaning about 72 hits per month.

So are you using adsense to generate income?

If so what is the true P&L for this enterprise, as opposed to turnover? or are you ranked highly on other keywords?

The site ranks for long tail B&B names such as "larkstone house sidmouth"

Over the past month it's been visited by over 1,000 different longtail searches.

Let me know if you need any more info.

IMHO Google exacts don't equate to much these days - remember there are so many ads above the fold these days.
