I think the bbc has basically made what the .co.uk is today - thanks bbc.

actually i think all the adverts on itv with most of the urls as .co.uk has helped more

although the beeb keeping the .co.uk as default site not com has helped educate world uk extension is .co.uk for sure

It amazes me to no end how many Americans trust and value the bbc over cnn and any other news network over there.

It is bizarre though, as they were banned from most warships and bases during the war for being biased in favour of the other side.

Do make fantastic documentaries though, can't fault them there.

When you think of the news channels they actually have though, it's not so surprising. Fox News can barely call itself a news channel. MSNBC is simliar but for the other side etc.

Perhaps they like bbc because although it clearly leans to the left, it's seen as an outsider looking in, and not a part of all of the infighting. It sometimes shocks me how much americans literally HATE one another based on political differences, in a way you often don't see here.

One thing I do like about the US news channels is that when their is a crime that could turn out to be famous, they send in their own investigators to sort it.

Then even when they have been charged, they still carry on prejudicing any trial.

Why wait for the juries decision in a years time when we can have a guilty or not guilty now. :D

Yeah, their news channels are good for comedy value and for creating a dramatic atmosphere. They are ceraintly entertaining, and I've tuned in to Bill O'reilly a time or two to watch him lose it :). He seems quite mild now with Glenn Beck around.
