Just wondering if someone could help. I have seen it a number of times where my browser automatically adds various extensions as a result of a typo. I can't seem to recreate that or find the option in IE.

For example, if you type acorn.con, it will automatically make that acorn.con.com or acorn.con.co.uk etc.

Any ideas?

it must be a feature of microsoft browsers gone by before they implemented the autoredirect to msn search.

having said that i've just tested it on IE5 and it doesn't happen :???:

Whoever owns com.org is a very rich person, I must visit that place at least once a week as i'm sure every other IE person does.
