I saw a program a couple of years back, where they were convinced that certain children were possessed by the devil. The children even started to believe it themselves. How they such such beliefs can be so backward is beyond me.

I don't understand why people do these crazy things. What on earth this people are thinking. Although these might count under religious or cultural practices, I think rules should be implemented and punishments should be given accordingly. I can't imagine the trauma that these practices could bring to children. tinned ham urls removed for quoting purposes.
