Picked up a domain that was available to reg, did a catch all mail forwarding and just received someone's credit card number, expiry dates and three code number on the back. Oh and their full name and address.

As the title of the post says, are people mental?

It's an email back and forth about booking something and they've previously provided card details in the same email. Looks like they might have been sending from an email account that has a reply to address at my new domain.

Good grief, that's just clearly bonkers - what planet are some people on? They don't deserve to be reimbursed by a bank, etc, if their funds get nicked, it's so naive!

Haha. I kept on receiving emails regarding overdue phone bills and other utility bills, along with a load of Facebook messages and requests.

Delete the MX records, unless of course you want the credit card numbers

Thats nothing, I have one domain that used to get 100s of pounds a week in paypal payments. Another one which is a fairly well known domain varient where the well known has a - and mine is without a -, that gets loads of confidential stuff. I keep emailing the people back but they clearly ignore me.

I speaking of -'s I noticed today the LONGEST domain in the world on the water delivery man's van. Nestlé Waters Powwow surely Nestle can afford better names

On that note, I own the .com for a company I used to work for, and they only use .co.uk

Some of the catchall emails I get are interesting to say the least LOL
