Are good keyphrase .me.uk domains selling? The reason I ask is that I've recently put up some very good keyphrase .me.uk such as inkcartridge.me.uk, printercartridge.me.uk and endowment.me.uk, but have had no interest so far. These are all high value keyphrases according to Google AdWords, so I thought they would sell.

What are others finding the .me.uk market like at the moment?

Rgds

very quiet for .me.uk`s at the moment, iv just put up HDTV.me.uk for offers but nothing.
i was thinking about putting footballboots.me.uk up for offers, but i dont think i will at the moment as it probably makes more than i could sell it for.

I've sold a couple of decent ones of late and there's no real cash in them.

One of those sales involved a keyword that would probably be worth £xx,xxx or £xxx, xxx in .co.uk and I only got high £xx.

All you have to do is look at the me.uk domains that are going uncaught. I know I've picked up properties.me.uk and appliances.me.uk in the last few months. These have not been caught by me, they've been hand-regged after the drop!!

org.uk might be picking up, but it will take a while and a rule change to have any real effect on the me.uk.

If anyone disagrees with me, then drop me a PM and I'll sell you some for good money .... it's not as though Nominet enforces the rules anyway!! FACT!!

Have only sold one (!!!) so far. Price - mid £xx :( But some of my .me.uk affiliate sites bring £xxx so it's not bad ;)

I thought limited companies were not allowed to own them but if you check out "adult" it's owned by TagNames Ltd (& as late as 2006). Different rules for different people???

If companies can own them then values would increase significantly.

There is no mechanism to prevent limited companies from registering these domains and Nominet does not actively monitor who registers them. That's what I was told by someone at Nominet and if you look at some of the registrations of these domains, you will see a some that have gone to limited companies who know the rules.

There like many others in respect that if you can make revenue there ok? Allthough unlike tld's or "higher" cctlds don’t think anyone’s going to set up a business around one..?

Not seen any listed high that would be considered tradtional earners on g e.g. gambling, finance, insurance etc.

If you develop would you be better developing a TLD or higher cctld you could actually sell..

You might sell the odd one if it’s a profession, name, etc to an end user (more for vanity though) but in the main there a waste of time?

I think .me.uk domains make fantastic personal email addresses, but as the above person says, I can't see the possibility of building a business on the domain.

The only one I personally know of is guestlist dot me dot uk who use it as their main domain.
