I managed to get this domain recently and not sure what I should sell it for.

Any advice would be helpful! :)

competive market but a good name - not really many type ins for those words but would make a good site - develop to see true value

Thanks for those words Charlie,

I am not really an expert at developing websites. Just a Frontpage amateur at best really!! Even if I was good at building websites I am not really knowledgable in the Loan/finance industry so what is my next best step? I already have advertised LowerDebts.co.uk on Sedo, but I am not sure how to go forward with regards making the site popular and increasing its traffic. Does parking the domain with Sedo (which puts adverts on the page), mean much to popularising the domain/putting it up the search page listings etc?

Making pennies on Google Adsense and suchlike doesnt really appeal to me. I would like to just get the best possible sale price and move on.

In these case scenarios what is the best way to develop and popularise a site whose industry you know nothing about!

well this is the compromise. If you can find a buyer thats in the market the potential for the domain name is there but as with all domain sales finding that buyer could take a long time.
developing would mean adding some relevant content and a bit of SEO but this would only raise the general public value of the domain - if you find the buyer take the money. :D

Finding these buyers can be the tricky part cant it! ;)

So much as someone sold DebtConsolidation.co.uk for £14,000 and it was labelled a bargain I would have thought that names in this field would be worth fair amounts.
