Wanted: Domain Appraisal Appraisal - expiring.org.uk

Ive been posting domains found from the site for the past few weeks.
I doubt its for sale but good to know

So what it worth as a package, domain (£10 imo) , unique hand written scripts & mysql driven backend history containing just over 8000 dropped domains todate.

Sites been active for 1 month previously parked with 0 hits

Today
40-60 unique hits a day
7 different robots indexing daily to weekly
6 backlinks (I have only ever posted the site on acorndomains)
Links from an Internet Search Engine
- Google 21 21
- del.icio.us (Social Bookmark) 1 1
- AOL 1 1
All search keyphrases look relevent to site


I didnt do any advertising for the site as an experiment. Oddly this has worked well so left it to grown on its own.

Not sure of an appraisal personally but I think it's a good site and the script works well.
Like I say if you listed .com's too (while I'm aware other sites exist yours is more accurate) it would be even more beneficial to people. Then obviously being able to choose the extension you want to search.

Ive moved home so dont have internet access until mid Jan but might look into com/net/etc. in the new year. The quickest would be to add daily reports. But still think an hourly/minute drop reports are a waste of resources in this market. Too many people using drop catching services for com's the little guy has almost no chance.

The thing is that not all domains will be wanted so there is a good chance of catching some good names on the drop. I don't expect to get generics (well not the good ones) but other traffic or PR sites I have no doubt will be catchable.

Oh yeah, I prefer to reg my domains through godaddy so if you have an affiliate link in with them, it would be a bonus.
