I have the evening off and am testing my blog url scraper.

I can find you a list of relevant blog pages for you to comment on to increase your website in the serps.

i have already done this for a few members here :)

totally free (or a +rep if you're feeling kind :p).

Tonight only... normally £15 a list.

simply send me a pm with the following info: 5 relevant keywords (for one domain) (as specific as possible please) , do you want the blogs to have been posted today, this week, month or year.

will be a mix of do/nofollow :) all url's are google indexed

What part am I not understanding, because I know people like to get back links to their sites, but surely, going to someones blog just to post a link to your site, is spamming? I would consider it spam and delete any urls posted if I had a blog.

99% of blogs allow commenters to add their website URL when leaving a comment (on wordpress and blogspot etc the URL is linked to whatever you put as author name). Assuming the comment is relevant and isn't just 'I like this post' - I assume most blog owners are happy to publish the comment.

No wonder there's so much spam on the internet then, I just don't understand why people let others posts on their sites, especially links, which serves the purpose of taking your visitors away from your site, I class it all as spam.

on wordpress and blogspot etc the URL is linked to whatever you put as author name.

I've never used blogs before, only just started using Wordpress recently, and wont allow anyone to post links on them, or make a post for that matter, I have mine set to not allow comments before I review them, but I'll delete them anyway.

Assuming the comment is relevant and isn't just 'I like this post' - I assume most blog owners are happy to publish the comment.

Can't see the point in it myself, as above, why allow posts and links that take people away from your site, doesn't make sense to me.

Without links the Internet would fall over. Blog commenting (it is a primary tool in many industries to build awareness about who you/your website is) and linking to other websites in posts/content you write are both fundamental to the Internet and Google 'working'.

Not allowing obvious spam comments is clearly appropriate, but to disregard good, relevant, value-adding comments is probably going to work against a blog rather than be of benefit.

Hi Peter,

In some cases you are right, if I commented on all of the blogs saying "nice blog" or "great article" and adding no value to their blog it is next to pointless. But if I read the article and put a nice 1 or 2 paragraph relevant comment that encorages positive discussion it is very valueable to them and google rewards you for that.

And I have managed to get blogs to #1 on google and yahoo for quite competitive keywords just by blog commenting.

Hi Systreg.

The reason most blog owners let users add comments is so that they can attract a discussion (which is basicly free content). It also makes users more loyal to the site which will increase traffic.

Adding a simple wordpress spam protection plugin is enough to stop 99% of spam coments getting through. (don't bother with catphas though, they can all be cracked, including recaptcha).
