Hi

Taking bookings for catches.

No adult or offensive domains.

£30 per successful catch, must give drop date when submitting any domains

Just send an email with your catches, first come first served, all stored in gmail account should anyone ever require proof.

How far in advance are you happy to take a booking?.

Also will you still be catching for yourself?.

As far as people want to supply lists with drop dates on. Must at least be suspended though, no year ahead drops lol

I would only load a domain for myself if nothing is booked or booked domains on any day have finished.

I've caught domains for lots of members on here and never had a problem.

I don't think scottm's comments were that bad really, maybe just bowing to murrays talent and adding a touch of frustrated jealousy at the end.

Everyone starts somewhere, and in the nursery that is acorn, there will always be problems.

Its good that people defend others, but if someone has already joined the defence, no need really for everyone else to. So put your pitch forks away everyone lol

As for catches, no more bookings please, can't be bothered. All current bookings will of course be added.

It's not jealousy. If you have deep pockets you can spend money on the best system, keeping catch credits topped up etc. My reason for this post although badly worded was maybe it is better that someone else took advantage of your catch offer. Someone else who is starting out and trying to get on the domain ladder, just like Murray was given a helping hand, and no I don't mean me. If that makes me a hate figure even though my intentions were well meaning so be it. It's clear I'm having a negative impact on this forum which is quite upsetting so as I said before I won't be using these forums anymore.

I wouldn't act too hastily.
It takes all sorts to make a forum interesting and so long as members obey the strict rules, they all contribute positively.
I don't remember if someone insults me a couple of days after the event, everyone is entitled to their opinion and the art is not to carry it on, so not to satisfy the other members temporary desire for an argument.
I think being able to handle your position on a forum is a good test of corporate character and an education in self discipline.
Hang in there.

Problem is here that we end up with a forum full of members who simply toe the line.

Hope not.

Well maybe thats something you can discuss when im gone. Im done with this place 100%. I may be many things but i have alot of good qualities there are some people here who behind there computer screen seem to think it is acceptable for grown men or supposed men (cowards) to gang up on individuals who dont toe the line as you say. Sooner admin gets on to delete my profile the better.

I would say everything I have said to your face also. It isn't about toeing the line, it is about not whining after a few beers, that the world owes you a living and it isn't fair that others have it better than you. Cry me a fucking river !

Are you kidding me do you even realise the amount of time and effort I have spent trying to get into the domain industry ?. This is the complete opposite of the truth.

http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/introductions/114138-hello-all.html Around March 14th 2013 according to your post there.

Rome wasn't built in a day, and you are talking to people on here who took years to get where they are today (myself included) except we didn't feel the need to moan at others after a few beers that a few months into domains, certain things are unfair and everyone is a bully and a coward.

If you class just over 4 months as time and effort to break into an industry as competitive as domains, you have much bigger problems than a few people disagreeing with you and getting narked at your next issue.

The only facts I know are the ones which you have shared during drunken posts.

2 months into domaining you said this : "I guess learning to be a good domainer is a process which can take along time, years and not months." which was from a post where you said you were feeling deflated and you were feeling sorry for yourself all through the post and didn't like the way others had answered you : http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/new-domainers/115706-feeling-deflated.html

Nobody has made out you are a charity case, but by choosing to use those words yourself, kind of reflects what I am saying here.
