I haven't used them for some time, but I just checked my Namewarden account, and found that they had caught NO domains out of 15 or so credits I bought. Furthermore, I cannot move the credits to new domains as their small-print specifies a maximum contract period of 12 months per domain, after which period if they haven't caught your domain, the money is theirs. I might as well have thrown my cash into the wind. Following up with them, they are plainly not interested in appeasing dissatisfied customers; looks like a case of 'take the money and run'

Looking through various domain/dropcatching forums inc this one, I cannot find very many positive comments about this firm. I thought I should post my experience here and give warning to anyone thinking about using these guys to do some research first, unlike me. It would be interesting to see whether any of the regulars here have had good/bad experiences with Namewarden.

I've only seen them catch a handful of crap domains since they started, like you say - one to avoid!

Never got one for me. I wont be using them again.

thanks; yes I have a caught account, they are much better than Namewarden. Originally I wanted to test all dropcatching services with the strategy of retaining accounts with all those that made successful catches - reasoning it is a good idea to have as many 'catch points' as possible. Dropcatcher.co.uk have also performed quite well.

My tests rate namewarden 0/10; dropcatcher 6/10; caught, snapnames and pool 7/10. Will be running with raid soon, be interesting to see how they perform.

yes, but the problem is when trying to snag the quality domains, many of them are already booked by other caught customers

Then the problem isnt your drop catching ability - its your lack of knowing whats going........

caughts missed a couple for me, maybe because i've been a little to ambitious, but there still a good service, will recomend
