Affiliate Commission Problems

just wondered if anyone here had any problems with affiliates constantly dragging their heels about making payouts - even though you've smashed through payment thresholds and the like for weeks there's always to be some hold up.

At the moment I find Commission Junction especially bad. For instance, ive sold over 600 items to one affiliate months ago with an average price of over £200 so it does wrankle me when us at the bottom of the pile just want their cut.

Overall i've realised that smaller affiliates are generally treated with contempt and are basically made to feel like bottom feeding scum... this is of course in the end is just tough sh1t if you want to play with the big boys!

Yes it's a frustration. Affiliate Window just changed thier interface so you now have to click buttons to see your latest figures, where it used to be automated. Mine all went to zero the other day then all came back.

I have had a few charge backs over Xmas, probably non-delivery of things ordered in time.

I haven't experienced many problems with CJ so it must depend on the merchant ?

Worst experience I have had financially is when a merchant went bust and I lost two months of confirmed comm. Gutted as I was running PPC at the time.

CJ is usually on time on their payment, but they do take forever to change the status from New to Extended then to confirmed

I have also good experience with CJ. It's true that in some industries are the sales extended for about one month because of the money back guarantee, but then you get your money without problems.
