It will be as scott says the time on the server

admin,

what timezone do you have specified in vbulletin options (Default Time Zone Offset) ?

I have a vbulletin forum and it's date/time is fine tonight, there must be a simple script you can get that can check the server time/date to verify what it is set as.

In VB reg'd users set their own timezone and by default it is adjusted for british summer time.

hmmm,

same settings as mine, my clocks right, the server time must'nt be right , is it hosted in the uk?

I don't know what else it could be , if they've come back to say the server time is correct. you could do a test

send an email to a fictitous address at the hosting account i.e. [email protected]

when it bounces back have a look at the headers to to see their server received time (usually the servers are all kept in time sync)

Whats does this output

PHP:
<?
echo date("F j, Y, g:i a");
?>

I would bet a £1 server time is wrong ;)

Do you have ssh access. If so ssh in and do 'uptime' 'top' or even 'date' will tell you the servertime. Even then you'd need root permission to change it.

I would just put in another support ticket and hope you get someone who will actually have a look rather then fob you off :(
