Looks like they are having some internal works at the moment, leave it a few hours and maybe you'll have different results.

clicks from the same ip address doesn't pay, I will be careful with that, as it will alert false clicks, if it continue I would contact them and let them know it's not you.

the amount paid per click is base on quality of clicks, you usually do get a minimum of $0.01 for a click

Another thing that people don't realise is that the quality of clicks goes right across your adsense account, not just across each website.

That is to say that if you had adsense on a good quality site and you were getting a fair amount per click, then you put adsense on a poor quality site where you're getting a low amount per click, it will also reduce the amount per click that you get on your good site.

Unfortunately you can't just bang up a load of sites & stuff adsense on them all, you need to keep consistant quality across all of the sites you add it to.

Not a lot of people know that...

Never noticed that in my own stats.. I have a few quality sites that get great CPC, and even more mediocre sites that get cpc of 5p etc

Where did you learn this info because my stats say it is not true.

You'd think so wouldn't you? Looking at the stats of one of my sites today, I notice I had 20 impressions, 3 clicks (15% CTR). Total earned? £0.00

How does that work? They must have clicked on someones adds, surely?

Could have been Charity Clicks with a 0 value ?

I'm guessing they register as a click ?

Yes, if Adsense can't find a relevant add for your site, they will display public service ads instead of leaving the ad space blank, the clicks still count on those but you earn nothing from public service ads.

Well, apart from the fact that every time I've checked that site it's never shown an ad that's obvious to me as a PSA, I've turned off the 'show PSA ads' option in the Adsense settings for now.
I already raise money in other means for good causes, but these sites are supposed to be earners, I'd rather have blank spaces. Perhaps if Google Adsense Reports were able to show if those clicks were PSA ads or not, then at least I could make an informed choice. As it stands, it's a rather misleading report to be honest!

How much are people earning from adsense?

Are you finding it worthwhile or not?

I find it worthwhile using adsense on certain sites. Some sites I have rely on adsense for monetisation. Not good to rely on one source of income, but these sites make nothing otherwise, I've tried variations.

I personally don't earn loads with adsense, but it does cover all my hosting costs etc with a bit on top. I earn enough to get a regular monthly payment :)
