I deal a Holdem hand to you/me with River still to come. i.e. your 2 cards, my 2 cards and 4 in the middle

You have the winning hand at this point. We play the hand out 100 times for any stake you like.

(If not, what is the scenario where with one card left to come i could be losing the hand and yet be favourite to make money after the river?)

hmm. off the top of my head i like my odds w/ an oesdf and a nut draw/overcards vs an overpair or top pair even w/ 1 to come.

will have to play with pokerstove to find the actual equilibrium points vs some ranges, then work out what is +$EV.
