Wanted: Domain Appraisal A little Help Please

Hi, I'm completely new to this game. In my haste I registered a couple of names this morning without really thinking about it or doing any research (I know, stupid!!)

One of the ones I registered was not the exact name of a music artist, but it's how people pronounce his name. It was www.fiddycent.co.uk.

Could someone with a bit of experience let me know a) If i made a mistake (which I think I did) regards registering peoples names or TM's and b) How to rectify it.

Next time i'll be more careful and won't rush into things!!!!!

Your attempt to register these names appears to have failed, they are both still available and there are no apparent delays in the system.

If your ISP is really so slow that it takes hours to register a domain I would look for a better service.

To be fair, I regged attempted to reg one with 123-reg yesterday and still no joy!

When I go into my account on 123 they are both listed my my domains. When you search for them on 123 they also now say taken.

Are you saying they are definitely not registered then??? I'm lost because i've had email confirmation and i can get into my account and change the nameservers for them????

They are definatley not registered - the whois should update instantly if there are no delays with Nominet. They are still showing available now... :???: 123 shines through once again!

Ha.... now I know why you said don't use them. I'll see what happens tomorrow, maybe 123 are just being extremely slow. You never know I could be lucky and lose them haha.
