My faith in humanity has been restored :)

My dad is going to America in July and a guy he spoke to on a travel group on Facebook helped him to plan his travel in America.

Here is the shocking part, this Yank doesn't know my dad yet today my dad unexpectedly received a parcel sent from America to Manchester containing books, guides and timetables worth about $200 ok they're what the guy used himself and didn't need but still cost him $200 and the postage was $80,this is from a stranger

It's certainly lifted my spirits 8)

Well done that man.

Not sure I would like to share my address to a complete stranger though. :)

Nice story doodle

Nothing to worry about too much, many people have their address shown to strangers on domains went it's not possible to opt-out on the WHOIS and also on the forums when buying/selling domains (invoices).

The more I think about it, the more I realise how many times I've passed my address on. I just wish there was more nice people like this guy in the world. :)

in life you always find that the people with little are the kindest. I can remember a few years back when I was stuck in spain and would have been late to a wedding, some nice girl gave me her seat on the earlier plane - will never forget it :)

toooo right...

what a nice story ,i remember when i left school and worked as a temp for a window company and i had the dubious task of cold calling peoples houses...i remember my boss standing at the end of the street and asked me which side of the road would i like to canvass ,there were council housing on one side of the road and huge houses with chelsea tractors on the other,i said without thought i shall knock the doors of the huge housing..."he laughed" he said "you have a lot to learn boy"...

and he was right ,i had 10x the leads from the council estate the next day...
