Wanted: Domain Appraisal A couple of questions?

Hi All,

What would you say is the best (or most accurate, to a point) domain value, assessor?
Before we go into everything is relative etc, the market is whatever, or it's what an end-user will pay.
I'm just looking for something that more times than not returns something realistic.

Plus contactsport.co.uk I've had an enquiry, does anyone have any ideas on where I should be with this? W: has anyone used Nokta's valuation tool, it gives a hell of a lot of background info, looks very professional but punchy assessments too!

The majority are robot valuations based upon some very average variables. I'd say you'd have more success asking for appraisals on here.

Valuation sites are waste of time and sometimes money (paid valuations), it's easier to check past sales on similar domains (seemly.co.uk, dnprice.es) to get an idea, that's a lot more accurate in my opinion.

Like you ian I've been on here for a long time but I don't really get involved, Unless I just happen to be on the site and I think I can help someone else on a string I've seen.

Also, I'm (always) wary of asking too much from members, so I don't ask for multiple valuations.

I like all the details Nokta's valuation provides, but the estimated prices are unrealistic. Yes, it's something you can/want to show to a potential end-user, at least it looks professional.

contactsport.co.uk - probably high XXX or low X,XXX for the right end-user.

i'd say definately unrealistic. I'd never heard of it so thought i'd try. I put two in , both co.uk

battersea .... worth 89 bucks allegedly
meditation ...... worth 635,000 bucks

I think its just a random number generator
