OK.

I don't think they are worth that much non-developed and I am actually thinking of developing them, but would be interested to hear what people think of these two...

EnvironmentalForums dot co dot uk

WeatherForums dot co dot uk

Any advice, ideas, guidance much appreciated!

EnvironmentalForums dot co dot uk - Domain a bit long and hard to spell. However, you could probably build a community. Not that readily monetisable, but if you could attract the right green-minded people, might be able to sell adverts, e.g. for high-end electric cars.

WeatherForums dot co dot uk - Weather is big traffic term, but hard to compete against likes of BBC. Difficult to see monetisation possibilities.

Yep, Agree on the monetisation issues, I guess if I got a community to a size then that is not such an issue.

I can get both domains to rank pretty easily, I'm not sure BBC have a weather community though - my though here was using something like vBulletin and their mobile app? could then become quite useful to people? What d'ya think?

Thanks

Well, people do love to discuss the weather but I think that's more an offline thing. Online, people will just want a quick weather forecast. I think you would be able to build a community, e.g. sharing weather pictures, and therefore make money, but the subject isn't as directly suited to monetisation as other terms. That said, an enthusiastic development could mean you own the niche, get traffic, and do OK. Might be a labour of love that could turn into a nice little earner, who knows??
