We have finished it in style! Now let’s wait for a double! :D

Congratulations to all fellow Chelsea supporters.

P.S. Bitter comments from rivals are also accepted. ;)

Throw enough money into the pot and you get success. But Chelsea have thrown a few other things away ...

They discarded "the special one", who seemed to be doing quite well, and then got rid of his successor because he was pipped at the post.

Master Bates (LOL I hate that man) has turned Leeds around into a successful team on a sound financial footing, and they have gained promotion.

I wonder what would happen if Chelsea hit a losing streak ... there's a cup final soon, and if anyone can produce tactics to beat Chelsea, I'd put my money on Grant.

I'm a Burnley supporter. I don't like the idea of paying to support big business ...

Well done to Chelsea...........

....but their run-in has been a bad advert for the 'Greatest league in the world', knocking 6,7 or 8 past opponents with regularity just shows how little competition there is imo.

Chelsea's win is the biggest in their 105-year history and also saw them break the record for the most league goals in a Premier League season with 103.

Ancelotti can now set his sights on history as Chelsea go in search of their first league and FA Cup double when they face Portsmouth at Wembley next Saturday.

Drogba won the Golden Boot.

Great day for all Chelsea fans.........

The only hint of a silver-lining on a very dark cloud for Liverpool fans!

Well done Chelsea! ;)

I like that before the game Lampard said "if we get a penalty Drogba can take it to help get the golden boot" - then the time comes and he takes it. The Drog had a right strop. He got there in the end though...

I can't stand Man U as every season they sniff around our squad (Spurs) and usually unsettle/get one of our best players. And can't stand Chelsea as they have Terry/A.Cole/Drogba. What a bunch of..... You'd be surprised how unpopular Messi is in Argentina though. People think he doesn't love the country as he never plays how he does for the national team as he does for Barce and take it as some form of insult!

I've actually got some sympathy for Manchester United. The only club in England that is self-financing at world level - and they got taken over by some chancy yanks who don't have the cash to pay for the mortgage, so they had to sell Ronaldo to make the interest payments. Matt Busby must be spinning!

Trouble is, if the real club (the players, coaches and manager) all took umbrage and went off to Stockport County, for example, they would be accused of betraying the club (a football ground and some foreigners) ...

LOL I find it annoying that so many top clubs need cash injections to stay at the top level. There's more annoyance in that clubs at the top get whomping big payouts for getting into Europe, which is how eg. Arsenal can afford their wages bill.

It's not a game, it's a business - and success depends on who wants to throw money at a club. Clubs that deserve respect are those who succeed without large cash injections ... not those who get there by buying success.

At least Manchester United have "grown" a few of their own players, notably the Nevilles, Scholes, and Beckham. Not to mention Best, Stiles, Bobby Charlton and a host of others.

I feel really sorry for Hull - they can't afford to rent the stadium next season, and the council have demolished Boothferry Road. If they're not careful, they will have to play in Scunthorpe ...

I have noticed one interesting thing. Actually there is no animosity between Chelsea and Man U supporters. And there is certain degree of respect even between managers. Well, this is pretty much true with all other teams and Chelsea. There is one exception though - Arsenal. I don’t know why, but Arsenal fans even cheer for Spurs (unbelievable!) if they play Chelsea. Oh well, you never know why these things happen. ;) Lot's of envy, I guess...

Rivalry is one thing, reasonless hatred is another. The "special one" has been known to say in public that he is friendly with Fergie, and that Fergie is not afraid to share knowledge over dinner - and also that Mr Wenger is nothing like as affable.

Manchester United supporters are not usually given to animosity or violence - it takes too much effort to get to see a MU game to jeapordise their status. Even if you have a season ticket, you will get turned away at Old Trafford if you are late for the kick-off.

Arsenal have the distinction of being the team with the longest record of being in the top flight of English football. Frankly, they survived for many years by using defensive bully boy tactics without winning any trophies (read Nick Hornsby for the boring details), but since Manchester United and Burnley were relegated in the 70s, their supporters think their recent successes give them elite status. Propped up by Arab oil money ...

I once had to deliver a "board" to Arsenal (one of those pitch side adverts). I've delivered them all over England (inc. Chelsea, and that is a pain in the butt) but I've never had the problem I had with delivering to Arsenal.

I rung the named member of the ground staff to tell him I was ready to deliver. "Where are you?" he asked.
"I'm in Gillespie Road" I replied (ie. right outside the long side of the old ground, opposite the club shop where I also used to deliver chinese made copies of the club strip for sale to the unsuspecting fans).
"Where's that?" he said.
"Outside the club shop" I answered.
"Where's that?" he said.
"Look, come out of the ground, tell me what you see, and I'll come to you - look for a big red van".
I found him. I wouldn't pay him to do anything ...

WTH it's all about money these days.

Look at Burnley and Hull - somebody worked out that being relegated third bottom was worth $800k more in grant money than being relegated second bottom.

Suddenly Hull muster the energy to draw with Liverpool in their last game ... and it's not enough, because Burnley beat Spurs 4-2.

In the words of Spike Milligan, "Offer money ..." !
