Is that the sum of all closed/completed sales or just finished auctions with final bid value?
I'm guessing the latter.
Currently I have no data to back this up, but from this report it shows signs that there could be a lot of domain transfers were not completed:
http://seemly.co.uk/domains/prices?source=domainlore&rows=100&status=incomplete
2017 from April highlights a lot of sales seem to go incomplete. That was when I started to verify data stored.
Maybe I should attempt to update all Domainlore records to flag whether a domain transfer was complete or not.
It's not something that I had really valued as important for the DB, but it could prove interesting.
I could also append a row to the bottom of the table to display price column total.
Though this wouldn't be entirely accurate as I store USD, EUR and GBP prices, it would be fine for Domainlore as it deals solely in GBP.
If you hover over 'actual' it says:
"Unlike other auction houses, we report only actual (i.e. fully completed) sales. Sale is considered actual at a point of sale but could later reverse if ownership is not changed in 21 days"
So after 21 days and if the sale doesn't complete does the figure automatically go down?

Plus frankly it's none of your business.
Ummm,
Seems a bit unnecessary
Well, there's a man who doesn't like the limelight! Apologies Edwin, no offence intended.
you chanced your picture v coolNo PR from me. I never publicise our sales.
If the buyer decides to, it's their choice.
I would ask others not to bring my name into it - it is the purest coincidence and irrelevant that it happened to be one of our names that broached the milestone, and I will not comment on the sale. Plus frankly it's none of your business. Thanks.
